I love my Matt: 
We've been together since April 23, 2008. We love riding stick dinos, taking care of our turtles, watching Phineas and Ferb, and having crazy awesome adventures! I'm so lucky and blessed to have him in my life.
I'm a crocheter, writer, and photographer. I'm also a full time student working on getting my major in psychology so I can work with training animals and in animal behavior/therapy. I am 19 years old.
I love animals! Matt and I have two aquatic turtles: Sheldon (Shelly--yes, she's a girl), who's just a few months younger than our relationship. And Misfit, our baby turtle, who we rescued. He's under a year old right now, and only has three legs due to an unfortunate encounter in the wild.

I've been wanting to post something here for awhile. Being back in school has forced me to budget my time, and I haven't gotten much crafting done since I got here.
Or any, really, besides a no-sew tie blanket I made for Matt.
I've got 2 unfinished sewing projects at home that I hope to finish soon, they'll be posted once I do...A lot of big ideas, I just need to find the time to make everything.
EDIT: I failed to mention I dyed my hair bright red! Like BRIGHT red xD A couple of weeks ago, its faded some now because I didn't bleach too much, so I'll have to do touch-ups soon. Its fun x3

Sewing Progress

My fabric came in and yesterday I finished my first sewn hat! I'm almost done with another, which I hope to finish today. They're both pokemon-themed. Unfortunately I already gave the first one away, and didn't get a very good picture of it, but I do have some crappy pictures on my phone which I'll upload later.
I'm happy with my progress :)
Also, I'm trying to come up with more hat ideas....I have plenty of purple, yellow, brown, black, red, and white fleece...Any suggestions?

It bothers me when things don't ship on time. I've been waiting for fleece to get in for awhile now, and now it says it won't be here until Wednesday.
Which makes EMily sad.
So my newest undertaking is teaching myself how to sew. Ever since I moved up north I've had a crazy fun-hat obsession, and I own about 10 different character hats. The idea is to gain experience and skill in sewing to start making my own hats. Sewn hats are thicker, warmer, and more durable than crocheted hats. They are quicker to make, and the materials can be less costly. I plan to make hats for myself, but also develop some fun ones to sell. So we'll see how that go
